Security Awareness Training for Businesses
Technology stops most attacks. The ones that get through are aimed at people. We run continuous training and realistic phishing simulations, and report on who needs help — not to blame them, but to fix it.
What it is
The last control is a person deciding what to click
Every layer of security eventually ends at someone reading an email and making a judgement. Filters stop the obvious. What reaches the inbox is what looked legitimate enough to pass — a convincing invoice, a shared document notification, a message that appears to come from a manager.
Annual training does not change behaviour. People sit through a video once a year, tick a box, and forget it within weeks. What works is short, frequent training combined with realistic simulations, so recognising a phishing attempt becomes a habit rather than a memory.
Guardbyte runs the programme continuously: modules tailored by role, simulated attacks that mirror what is actually circulating, and reporting that shows where the risk concentrates. Staff who click get immediate, supportive coaching rather than a disciplinary email — which is what keeps people reporting suspicious messages instead of hiding them.

Capabilities
What the service covers
Role-based training modules
Short modules tailored to the role — finance sees invoice fraud, executives see impersonation, everyone sees phishing and password hygiene.
Realistic phishing simulations
Simulated attacks modelled on campaigns currently circulating, delivered at intervals rather than all at once.
Immediate coaching
Anyone who clicks gets a short, non-punitive explanation at that moment, which is when the lesson actually lands.
Report-a-phish workflow
A one-click reporting button in Outlook routes suspicious messages to our SOC for analysis, turning staff into sensors.
Risk reporting
Click rates, report rates and improvement over time, broken down by department so you can see where to focus.
Compliance evidence
Completion records and training logs that satisfy ISO 27001, NIS2 and GDPR expectations around staff awareness.
Managed by Guardbyte
A training platform is not a training programme
Buying a licence and sending one campaign is how most awareness projects begin and end.
01
Baselined
We run an initial simulation before any training so you know your real starting point, not an optimistic one.
02
Delivered continuously
Short modules and simulations run throughout the year on a schedule we manage, with content rotated so it stays unfamiliar.
03
Escalated where needed
Repeat clickers get additional, targeted support. Persistent high risk is flagged to you with a recommendation, not just a statistic.
04
Reported to management
Quarterly reporting on click rates, reporting rates and trend, in a form you can take to the board or an auditor.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Does phishing simulation upset staff?
It can, if it is done as a trap. We frame it as practice, coach rather than punish, and never use cruel pretexts such as fake bonus announcements. Handled properly, staff engage with it and reporting rates rise.
How often should simulations run?
Frequently enough to stay unpredictable — typically monthly. Annual testing tells you almost nothing, because people behave differently when they know a campaign is due.
What is a realistic click rate?
Most organisations start somewhere between 20% and 35% on the first unannounced simulation. With a continuous programme that usually falls into single digits within a year. The more useful metric is the report rate — how many people actively flag it.
Is training available in Greek?
Content is available in multiple languages including Greek, which matters for staff who do not work in English day to day.
Does this satisfy ISO 27001 or NIS2 requirements?
Both expect demonstrable, ongoing staff awareness rather than a one-off session. Completion records and simulation results provide that evidence directly.
