Compliance Platform for ISO 27001, NIS2 & DORA
Compliance fails on evidence, not intent. We run a platform that collects proof of your controls continuously, maps it to the frameworks you are held to, and keeps you audit-ready instead of audit-panicked.
What it is
The work is not the policy. It is proving the policy is followed.
Most organisations preparing for ISO 27001 or NIS2 discover the same thing: writing the policies is the straightforward part. The difficulty is demonstrating, months later, that access reviews happened, that backups were tested, that staff were trained, that patches were applied — with dated evidence an auditor will accept.
Done manually, that means a scramble of spreadsheets and screenshots before every audit, repeated annually, with gaps wherever someone forgot to record something at the time.
A compliance platform automates the collection. It connects to the systems you already run — Microsoft 365, endpoint management, backup, ticketing — and continuously gathers evidence against each control, mapped to the frameworks that apply to you. Guardbyte configures it, monitors the gaps, and works through remediation with your team.

Capabilities
What the service covers
End-to-end lifecycle support
From initial gap assessment through remediation, internal audit and certification, and then the ongoing surveillance audits.
Automated evidence collection
Integrations with Microsoft 365, endpoint, backup and ticketing systems gather proof continuously rather than at audit time.
Multi-framework mapping
One set of controls mapped across ISO 27001, NIS2, DORA, GDPR and Cyber Essentials, so a single piece of evidence satisfies several obligations.
Policy templates & workflows
Starting templates adapted to your organisation, with review cycles, approvals and version history handled by the platform.
Live gap tracking
A continuous view of which controls are met, which are drifting and which have never been implemented — with owners and dates.
Audit-ready reporting
Reports and evidence packs an auditor will accept, produced on demand rather than assembled over three stressful weeks.
Managed by Guardbyte
Software does not make you compliant
The platform collects evidence. Somebody still has to close the gaps it exposes — and that is usually where projects stall.
01
Scoped to your obligations
We establish which frameworks genuinely apply — NIS2 scope in particular is widely misunderstood — and avoid work you do not need.
02
Integrated with your systems
Connectors are configured against the systems you already run, so evidence collection is automatic instead of manual.
03
Gaps worked through
Our advisory team prioritises the gaps and, where they are technical, our engineers implement the fixes directly.
04
Audit supported
We prepare the evidence pack, run the internal audit and support you through the external audit itself.
FAQ
Questions we get asked
Does NIS2 apply to us?
It depends on sector and size, and the scope is broader than many expect — it reaches essential and important entities across energy, transport, health, digital infrastructure, manufacturing and their key suppliers. We assess applicability as the first step, before any work is committed.
Can a platform make us ISO 27001 certified?
No. Certification requires an accredited external auditor assessing your management system. A platform makes the process considerably faster and cheaper by keeping evidence current, and reduces the risk of non-conformities.
We already have policies. Is that enough?
Policies are necessary but not sufficient. Auditors test whether controls operate as described — that access reviews actually happen, that backups are actually tested. Evidence of operation is what a platform provides.
How long does ISO 27001 certification take?
For an SME starting from a reasonable baseline, typically six to nine months to certification. A platform and structured gap remediation shorten that; the fixed constraint is the period of operating evidence an auditor needs to see.
Does this replace our auditor?
No, and it should not. An external auditor must be independent. The platform prepares you for them, which usually shortens the audit and reduces findings.

Find out where your gaps are
A gap assessment against ISO 27001 or NIS2 will show what you already satisfy, what is missing, and how long realistic remediation takes.
